I decided today that I want to do something crafty everyday and blog about it until little Kennedy joins the party.. so for today, I figure I'll post my list as of right now.. and post as I work and/or finish the projects listed.

First off.. I am soooo honored.. Lolly named one of her FABULOUS patterns after me! :D

Second.. I made some awesome patchworky scarves!

Third.. in need of some creative inspiration.. I began to think about halloween.. For years and years BabyMomma [formerly known as Preggo] and I came up with an idea..

The best part:: I'm going to make our costumes!! I will be going as Queen Frostine. BabyMomma will be going as Princess Lolly. and baby Lucian will be going as Plumpy.

I'm Jack's baby birdie induced hand cramp..

today.. oh today.. this morning we got our Christmas tree! yay so exciting.. the smell of Christmas is wafting in the room.. Mumsy and I decided to participate in a Creating Keepsakes ornament exchange thing.. [http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/mb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=201981] where you put a hand-made ornament somewhere kinda random with a tag saying "congrats you found me! go here and tell everyone the tale"..

so I took one of the baby birdies I made yesterday and left it down a row of trees..


When we came home I made 9 more baby birdies to go with the five remaining baby birdies.. and now they're just waiting to go on the tree..

I spent the day today making Wendy birds [from Lollychops] and baby birds [as ornaments for our christmas tree] Here are some pics of the fun crafties I did got accomplished.. Tadah

I made a Wendy-like bird with kitty fabric which Mumsy and I thought was Ironic.. his name is Kennedy.. Lucian loved his new friend!


I made 6 ornament baby birds so far.. I plan on making a bunch more.. 3 of each color combination..

we're getting our tree tomorrow so hopefully I can crank a bunch more out in time.. :D

R.I.P. Benny the Almost Whale

This morning when I came downstairs to make some breakfast and chill with my darling black and white dogs.. there was something aloof.. All across the living room floor was stuffing [the innards of a toy not the delicious addition to Thanksgiving and Christmas].. I sighed a sigh of disdain for I assumed it was the quail-like Wendy Mumsy had given the pups to play with.. Upon further inspection of the bits and pieces strewn about the floor [it's gruesome].. was a green and pink little body known only as Benny. THEY KILLED MY WHALE!! those little doggie monsters.. so green with envy they were that I loved that whale..

Anyway, I'm taking the day off today from crafts.. in loving memory of Benny.. I dread going back to the sewing table to create another of his kind..
